Dr. Gloria Kim can assist you in giving you a natural-looking and a comfortable denture that is custom designed to fit you perfectly.
Types of Dentures We Offer
There are different types of dentures available, and Dr. Kim can help you decide which type of denture is best for you based on your specific needs.
Partial dentures: If you have lost several teeth, but most of your remaining teeth are healthy, they can act as anchors for a partial denture. Partial dentures can be used for both the upper and the lower jaws. Clasps are incorporated into the dentures to gently hold some of the remaining teeth so the denture does not move when you speak and eat.
Full dentures: If all of your teeth are missing in the upper jaw, or the lower jaw, or both, the full denture can be made to custom fit your gum tissue and replace all of your missing teeth. Our dentures are made to closely fit the shape of your gum tissue for the least amount of shifting.
Immediate dentures: Immediate dentures are full dentures that are made ahead of time before remaining teeth are removed so that you don’t have to go without teeth. As your gum tissue heals over time and changes its shape, the inside of your denture will need to be relined, which can be conveniently done at Pinebrook Dentistry.
Implant-retained dentures: One of the most common issues associated with dentures is movement while speaking or eating. If you are looking for more secure option to keep your dentures from shifting, we can utilize implants to hold your dentures securely in place. Small dental implants are placed in your jawbone and securely hold your dentures to prevent even the tiniest amount of movement. You will no longer have to worry about sore spots or slipping dentures when you speak and eat. Implant-retained dentures can be removed at night for easy cleaning and storing just like other dentures.
