Pinebrook Dentistry

Your First Visit

At Pinebrook Dentistry, we love meeting new patients. We want to make sure that you feel cared for from the moment you step into our office. Our dedicated staff will ensure that you feel relaxed and comfortable every step of your encounter with us.

As a new patient, we ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to fill out new patient forms. We collect necessary information about you to provide excellent dental care that is catered specifically for you.

What Happens During Your First Visit

You will be introduced to a dental assistant at your appointed time, and she will take necessary x-rays if you do not have current ones. Dr. Gloria Kim will then examine the current condition of your teeth and gums, perform an oral cancer screening, and discuss with you her findings. You will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions about your oral health concerns and ways to take care of your teeth and gums.

Dr. Kim will give you a dental cleaning according to the current health of your gums. For any dental findings that require additional visits, Dr. Kim will go over your treatment options thoroughly so that you can confidently make decisions to improve your oral health.

Reviewing Your Treatment Plan

When you are ready to check out, our patient coordinator will be able to schedule your next cleaning appointment and any other appointment for treatment, if needed. She will also go over the financial aspects of your dental treatment, including insurance benefits that you may have through your plans. For patients without insurance coverage, we offer convenient financial arrangement so that you can receive the care you need without delay.
