This patient came to see Dr. Kim ready for a change. He was not happy about his smile and wanted to finally do something about it! Dr. Kim presented several treatment options to give the patient a confident smile and the patient opted for implant retained prosthesis for upper and lower arches. Once the treatment was completed, he was so pleased to finally eat and smile confidently.

Dental implants can offer esthetic solutions for missing teeth. This patient came to Dr. Kim when an old crown broke off from her front tooth. She was immediately sent to a local oral surgeon and the tooth fragment was removed and an implant was placed on the same day. She wore a temporary appliance while the bone healed around the implant for a short period. Dr. Kim took a custom shade to give her a perfectly matched implant-supported tooth that looks and feels like her own.

Sometimes worsening gum disease can lead to loss of teeth. While there are several options available to replace missing teeth, including dentures and implants, this patient did not want dentures. Four of her lower front teeth were removed due to severe gum disease. A bridge replacing all four teeth was attached to two implants that would stay secure while she talks and eats. The patient was thrilled that she could eat normally again without worrying about her loose teeth.
